Reverse Engineering
While we prefer customer provided prints to manufacture a new roller, mandrel, or molded part, we know prints are not always readily accessible. When a print is no longer available, we have the expertise to make a print from your existing item. We understand there are cases where a drawing has been lost or destroyed. In these instances, we will measure your supplied part and use it as a template to analyze the core, cover, crown or anything else so we can replicate the part. We will reverse engineer and provide a print for a spare roller or manufacture a mold in order to provide a new molded part.
Either in house or at your facility, we can measure a groove pattern, test the original cover or elastomer, and make a roller drawing to manufacture a new metal core. Through our reverse engineering analysis, it is possible to duplicate your existing part, roller, sleeve, mandrel, or mold when you no longer have the original print.
